Modelisation organique - devoir2 - stephane payette
For our 2nd project, we have to model a human head. Normaly, I should use a reference from a classmate, but since he didn't showed up at the photo session, I was given the permission to use a reference of my choice.
Here is Aneta, the reference I will be using:
The photo is already really well shooted, but since I am a little maniac, I re-worked it a little. I tought maybe not every one knows the tricks, so here is my workflow:
1) the head was tilted a little bit, so I rotated it using the eye corner as the pivot point until both eyes are lined up.
2) The, I ermoved the background on the side and front photo. Since skin color dont have much blue in it, the easyest way i have found to do so, was to copy the blue channel in a layer :
That gived me a good contrast between the skin and the backgound. Then select it's background, and used this selection to delete the background from the front and side photo:
After that, I did some reproportionning of facial features to align those in the front and side photo using selections and the transform tool:
Now I am ready to import thos in the 3d application and start modeling
...To be continued

Re: Modelisation organique - devoir2 - stephane payette
Did some topology research. I know it could be a lot better. I think it's a little too dense, since I am going for subdiv. I'd really appreciate suggestions on this.

Je suis bloqué au niveau de la topologie à l'entour du nez... Suggestion?
